Third Grade Visits Clark Planetarium
Our third-grade classes had the opportunity to visit the Clark Planetarium where they explored the wonders of the universe. With the support of our amazing parents, students participated in numerous interactive exhibits. They learned about life on the international space station and heard how scientists are reaching beyond our solar system to discover extrasolar planets. We were pleased to recognize budding Astrophysicists in our group; their insights and understanding of space are well beyond their years.
We’re proud of the way our students conducted themselves and so very grateful for our volunteer parents who arranged to join us on the fieldtrip.
On a side note, we were fascinated by the changing weather during our bus ride. The weather went from cloudy to sunny, to foggy, to snowing between Provo and Salt Lake City; a great demonstration of third-grade science standards.
