Congratulation Professora Loftus!

Pro Mel and Pro Loftus

Each month the Provo City School District selects outstanding employees to recognize with the Provo Way Award. Prof. Loftus, our first-grade Portuguese teacher, was nominated by Prof. Stirling-Durrant. Each year, Prof. Loftus takes two English-speaking first-grade classes and instructs them entirely in Portuguese. Under her calm, caring tutelage, the students quickly learn to communicate in Portuguese. Some will argue that she has the hardest job at Lakeview!
