Fire Safety Instruction Provided to Lakeview Kindergarteners
Firefighters from the Utah Valley University Fire and Rescue Academy visited Lakeview last week to provide fire safety instruction to our Kindergarten students. Our young Lions were able to interact with a firefighter wearing all his safety equipment. They were also allowed to lift and wear some of the equipment so they would be less frightened if they ever needed rescue. The firefighters explained how important it is to avoid fire and to keep away from matches and electrical outlets.
