Lakeview Elementary School

Lakeview Kindergarteners enjoyed a special visit from Mrs. Lam, who is a member of the Navajo Nation.  Mrs. Lam taught us about the Native American Culture and how they wake every morning to give thanks for everything. Kindergarteners learned about jewelry bead making, Navajo rug making and different Native American homes. Last, we enjoyed a feast of popcorn, apples, jerky, and fish crackers as we served each other and gave thanks for what we had!
