Lakeview Elementary School

Professora Rossi’s DLI classes enjoyed a science field trip in our own backyard.  Students learned to recognize and classify deciduous and evergreen trees as they explored trees around the Lakeview playground.

Standard V

The characteristics of different ecosystems found in Utah will be discussed in this grade. Students will consider the living organisms found in Utah, including plants and animals that are endangered. They will learn to classify these organisms and study the behavior of the animals around them. These environmental science lessons provide information about a wide variety of ecosystems and can be accessed anywhere, making it easy for students to study.
