5th grade went on a field trip to the Utah State Capitol Building last week. We learned about the building’s history as well as how each branch of government is currently represented there.

Some of our favorite memories were standing under the 165′ rotunda, looking for seagulls and Sego Lilies throughout the building’s design, standing in the Gold Room, and sitting in the Supreme Court Room and the House of Representatives Room.
