NewsLakeview teachers pulled out a 28-22 win in a “defensive battle” against this year’s sixth-grade. Each year the sixth grade is sure that their class will be the one to bring the teachers to their knees. Smack talk begins early in the year (or late in their fifth-grade year). This year’s team started out with a bang scoring six runs (four home runs(?)) in the first inning, really putting the teachers on their heels. It took the teachers a couple of innings to find their rhythm, but they eventually took the lead and never looked back.
Congratulations to the sixth graders for making such an amazing showing this year.
