Olá! My name is Professora Aquino . I am excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher! I am looking forward to a great school year.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I was born in Brasília but lived in Curitiba, Paraná, Southern Brazil, over the last 20 years. I graduated from PUC- PR with a bachelor’s in Languages. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching at various educational contexts in my country. I have a 16-year-old daughter who also just moved to Utah from Brazil. My oldest is going to university in Curitiba and wants to become a psychologist.

Teaching in the Portuguese Immersion program at Lakeview is both an honor and a privilege for me.
