Our fifth graders proved you don’t need to rely on finding a pot of gold when you can grow your own food. On St. Patrick’s Day, the other fifth-grade classes celebrated the luck of their first harvest by eating the greens they grew using their hydroponics system.

Pro. Aquino’s class had green smoothies with lettuce and arugula, Mrs. Pratt’s class had Margherita Pizza with fresh basil, and Mrs. Foster’s class had chips and Pico de Gallo with fresh cilantro.
