Lakeview Elementary School

Lakeview celebrated Green Ribbon/Safety Week, August 30-September 3rd. As part of Safety Week, students were encouraged to sign a safety pledge.

  • Monday – Bike Safety day, students were encouraged to wear green.
  • Tuesday – Pedestrian Safety Day; we wore crazy socks to remind us to watch our step.
  • Wednesday – For Fire Safety Day on Wednesday, we wore red and had our first fire drill of the year.
  • Thursday –  Internet Safety Day, found us dressed in all sorts of patterns. We want to develop a pattern of safety while online so we had NetSmartz come and present their internet safety assembly.
  • Friday – Drug Awareness Day, our Lions were invited to wear their favorite sports jerseys. To top off the week, the Provo Fire Department came to spray water in the park.  It is always delightful to see how much fun our Lions can have with a spray of water.

Thanks to our PTA and everyone who made this week happen.
