Pro. Loftus Receives Provo Way Award

Provo School District recently recognized the efforts of Professora Roberta Loftus, our first-grade DLI Portuguese teacher. Her job is to take two groups of primarily English-speaking first graders and teach them to learn and function in Portuguese.  Her outstanding program is taught entirely in Portuguese – with a lot of pointing and signing for the first few weeks. Her efforts provide the foundation of our very successful DLI Program. We are thrilled to have her here at Lakeview.
