Lakeview Elementary School

Volunteers Needed!

Lakeview will be doing Junior Achievement in a Day again. JA is a fun program that uses hands-on activities to help young people understand the economics of life.

The PTA is looking for volunteers to teach this fun and interactive curriculum all about the communities we live in and how to be successful in our finances. The lessons are already planned for you, we just need you and your energy to present them! The classes will be held during the regular school day on March 29 from approximately 9 AM-2 PM with a lunch break (the schedule varies slightly based on each class’s daily schedule).

There will be a 30-minute training held on Friday, March 17 where you will get all teaching materials and lesson plans. If you can’t make that training there will be a recorded Zoom training you can watch. You can either teach the whole day or split it with another volunteer. If you are willing to teach the whole day please sign up for both slots for the selected teacher. This is a great opportunity for our kids and we’re excited to be able to offer this program.

Please follow this link to sign-up.

Thank you!
