Halloween Information

Lakeview Halloween Costume Parade will be held on at 8:45 AM on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28th

Parade: This Friday is our Halloween parade! The parade will be in the morning starting at approximately 8:45 am. Due to safety concerns regarding having so many adults in the building on parade day, we ask that parents not enter the building before, during, or after the parade. Please plan to enjoy the parade along the parade route as indicated on the attached map. Just as we did last year, we will also be doing a Facebook live broadcast on our Facebook page found at this link.  So, if you aren’t able to attend in person, you can watch it on Facebook.

We will begin as close to 8:45 as we can.

Costumes for Friday: Students can arrive at school in their costumes.

  • We should be able to identify your child even when in costume.
  • Weapons of any type, fake or real, will not be allowed.
  • Masks may be worn for the parade only but not once classes begin.

We look forward to this fun tradition and hope parents, grandparents, other family members, and neighbors feel welcome to come and enjoy the costume parade.

After the parade, students will return to their classrooms and have class Halloween parties and celebrations. We will go back to our normal school routines the following week.

No Costumes on Monday – October 31st

Monday will be a regular academic day, so please, we would ask that no costumes, face paint, crazy hair, masks, hats, or props be worn that day at school.  Fun Halloween t-shirts or very minimal non-distracting parts of their costumes would be ok.

Thank you so much for your understanding as we try to juggle continuing fun holiday traditions with our academic purpose in a way that is complementary to both.
