Lakeview Elementary School

Our students have been able to get up and be active during class game time. Our Playworks coach, Coach Heather, has been teaching new games to share with the other students at school.

The first game they learned is called band-aid tag, they can be tagged three times before they have to go to the “hospital” and do jumping jacks. The next and last game that they learned is called bridge ball. All the students have their legs spread slightly to touch the feet of the student next to them, creating a connecting bridge. If the ball goes through their legs they have to turn around and wait for the ball to roll through their legs again. They all enjoyed the games, and it is also so much fun to see them working together as a team.

Playworks and Coach Heather bring fun and excitement to our school while teaching and strengthening our social skills.
