Lakeview Vision Screening – Volunteers Needed

To Volunteer, email: LakeviewPTAProvo@gmail.com

Date: Wednesday, September 4th Time: 8 AM Place: Gym (remember to check in at the office first) Number of Volunteers Needed: 16-20 volunteers to be in the gym about 10 minutes before school starts.

Event: You will be assisting our nurse in completing vision screening for the whole school. Performing well at school can be difficult if a child has visual problems. School vision screenings may provide an important safety net, alerting parents to possible problems as they develop between check-ups with a licensed eye doctor.

Details: No small children, please. Volunteers don’t need any specialized training. You will get a quick orientation that morning. We start screening right after the pledge and any morning announcements and go until all the classes have been screened. If we get enough volunteers, it lasts about 2 hours!
