Our Brazilian Festival Was A Huge Success

Lakeview PTA sponsored Festa Junina with the help of our DLI teachers. The weather couldn’t have been better as Lakeview families enjoyed the music, food trucks, dancing and games. After a long day at school, our DLI teachers helped the PTA with the finishing touches.  Our DLI classes performed traditional Brazilian dances that they’d been learning for a few weeks. 

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on this event and those who attended. One of our DLI teachers said, “I know Brazil is far away but this feels just like home.”
